We were requested to produce a commercial animation for the purpose of using it on Youtube.
We received a draft scenario and brushed it up with the director. We were in charge of the content/design/animation production.
What we thought about / what we stuck to
As the main target audience is creators out there, we added playful elements to the characters and used animated expressions in order to attract the interest of creators.
We wanted to keep the content easy to understand. So we reduced unnecessary elements as much as possible.
The characters were designed to be POP and have a slightly twisted expression as a hook. The animated expressions were inspired by the tools often used by creators.
