This page is a guide for those who are considering ISETSU DESIGN for creating animations.
First, let us explain the concept of ISETSU DESIGN, what we are care about and value, and also what we can produce and provide. Explanation about cost and production procedure come after that.
What we care about and value
ISETSU DESIGN is a company that creates animations with the aim of conveying information in an easy-to-understand and enjoyable way.
We often hear that ‘the amount of information in a video is way greater than that in text’, but when we are actually producing them, we often think that ‘the greater the amount of information, the harder it is to get the message across’. In actual production, however, it is often thought that ‘the greater the amount of information, the harder it is to convey the message’.
The real appeal of animation is movement, and it is this movement that attracts people’s attention.
The addition of good animation to a well-crafted design can make the information more attractive.
Information should be as concise and easy to understand as possible. With animation, we want to make the information as attractive and entertaining as possible for the viewer.
We also want to work together with you to create something good, so we place great importance on thorough interviews, including online.
What we can produce

We make a lot of soft, simple taste, and POP.

Fees
If the content and image are already established, we will ask you for details and provide an estimate. If the image is not yet clear, we will provide an estimate after hearing from you online, etc.
The amount of money for an animation is mainly determined by the time (length), the method of expression, the degree of movement, the presence or absence of narration and the delivery date. The amount of structure and scenario preparation will also affect the price. This is because there is more preparation and thinking to do if you start from scratch.
When quoting, please tell us what you want to animate, how long (length), the URL of a reference animation close to your image, with or without narration, and the delivery date. If your budget is limited, we can make a proposal to suit your budget. If you cannot find a reference animation or do not have a specific image in mind, we will share the image of the animation to be produced during the hearing.
How to proceed with production
This is the basic animation production process.
1, Contact us
Please contact us first via the contact page.
If you have a simple question, we will answer it immediately by email.
- I would like to know the approximate cost.
- I would like to know if it is possible to produce this kind of animation by sharing a URL such as Youtube.
2, Hearing
Please send us a brief description of your animation via the contact page.
We will contact you and send you the URL for the hearing sheet. Please answer the questions we need to ask you for a quote and tell us what you would like to see in the animation you have created.
If you prefer, we can also conduct the hearing online at this stage.
3, Quotation
We will prepare and send you a quotation based on the information we receive at the hearing.
The quotation is free of charge, so please do not hesitate to contact us.
4, Confirmation of structure and scenario
From here to the quotation is a formal order.
Customers who only fill in the hearing sheet will be interviewed once online at this stage.
You will then confirm the actual animation structure and scenario (narration) to be produced.
5, Rough conte/character design proposal
Once the composition and scenario (narration) have been confirmed, they are then incorporated into a rough sketch.
If characters are to appear in the film, a character design plan will be drawn up.
If no characters appear, we will select a cut that best conveys the image and create a design plan.
We will propose two basic designs.
6, Design Contests (Contest Clean-up)
Once the character design or cut design has been finalised, the conte is cleaned up by reflecting the design in all the rough conte cuts.
Once you start adding movement, it will be difficult to revise the design.
At this stage, all design modifications should be pointed out and the design finalised.
At this stage, we will also suggest potential narrators, and you will be able to choose your narrator at the same time.
7, Motion addition (animation production)
Once the design is in good shape, we proceed to the animation stage by actually adding movement.
The narration will be produced with a provisional narration that we have read and recorded.
In the first submission, you will see the animation with rough movements and tell us about any corrections you would like to make.
The second submission will be used to create an almost complete animation.
8, Billing
If you accept the finishing touches at this stage, we will issue an invoice.
If there are any additional costs incurred during the production stage, we will calculate and submit them as well.
9, Finishing the animation
Once we have received your transfer, we will begin the final stages of the animation.
The narration will be recorded by your chosen narrator.
Please note that corrections cannot be made after the narration has been recorded and additional fees will be charged for re-recording.
Finally, you will be asked to check the animation with the recorded narration.
If there are no corrections, the animation is now complete!
10, Delivery
Once the animation is completed, we will prepare the delivery data and send it to you.
Please note that the delivery will be in video format and we do not provide the original After Effects data.
The above is the animation production process.
